New Railway Line Next to the Future Gaming Industry Center

At the 160th session of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, a decision was adopted to launch the financing of the reconstruction and construction of the second track of the railway line Dugo Selo–Novska railway line, a project worth nearly €900 million. This is one of the most important infrastructure interventions, covering the modernization of approximately 84 kilometers of railway. The project will increase the safety and reliability of rail transport and strengthen connectivity with national and European transport corridors.

For Novska, this project has additional value because the railway route runs alongside the future Gaming Industry Center. This ensures, already during the construction phase, direct transport connectivity between the Center and the rest of Croatia as well as Europe, confirming its strategic position and accessibility.

This means easier access for students and trainees, improved everyday mobility, and better working conditions. Developers, mentors, and investors involved in training programmes, projects, and development initiatives within the Center will also benefit from easier access.

Better connectivity with Zagreb and other parts of Croatia, as well as accessibility to international destinations, are key prerequisites for the development of the Gaming Industry Center being built in Novska as a long-term platform for education, production, and game development, and for strengthening the gaming industry in this part of Europe.
